Sustainability and Community

Our commitment to sourcing sustainable leather sets us apart. We prioritize using leather that is a byproduct of local farming and agriculture industries, ensuring that our materials come from animals that are primarily raised for other purposes. By utilizing this sustainable approach, we reduce our environmental impact while maintaining the utmost standards of craftsmanship, delivering unparalleled comfort to the soles of your little ones.

By using organic and natural fibers such as cotton, linen, hemp, and bamboo, we consider how the product will be used, and match durability with the garment type to minimise the impact of the materials on the environment, arising from the processes and dyes used to prepare them for manufacturing of our products.

And our dedication to sustainability doesn't stop with our choice of materials. We believe in making responsible business practices a cornerstone of our brand. We carefully select textile suppliers who adhere to the Oeko-Tex®️ 100 Standard, guaranteeing that no harmful chemicals are used in the production process.

Complete control of production allows us to minimise the negative impacts associated with manufacturing. Small-batch manufacturing negates overproduction or oversupply and enables reduction of waste and energy usage wherever possible throughout the production of each garment.

When it comes to manufacturing, we strive to minimize waste and energy consumption. For instance, we have transitioned the majority of our prints from traditional wet printing to digital printing, reducing fabric waste and enabling smaller production runs. Digital printing not only saves water but also eliminates the need for screens and colorant baths, reducing our overall fabric use.

Our customers are also empowered to contribute to minimizing the environmental impact by our products. All our items are designed to be washed effectively in cold water and with minimal detergent, significantly reducing their ecological footprint throughout their lifespan. By washing in cold water and hang drying whenever possible, our customers can conserve energy, preserve the integrity of their garments, and prevent textile waste from ending up in landfills.

We believe that proper care is essential to extending the life of our garments. Cold water washing not only protects the environment but also helps preserve the vibrant colors of our designs. Hang drying is encouraged as it saves electricity and maintains the integrity of the fabrics. We also recommend selective dry cleaning when necessary, opting for environmentally-aware dry cleaners who avoid harmful chemicals. And when it comes to removing minor wrinkles, a natural steam treatment in the bathroom while showering is often all that's needed to keep our fabrics looking their best.
